Mark has experience of working closely with a number of owner-managed businesses. He provides an all-round service from bookkeeping and management reporting to planning and financial decision making.
He is a company specialist and has considerable experience in audit, accountancy and taxation. Mark is keen to embrace new technology and proficient in computerised accounting systems, particularly Sage. Prior to Butterworths, Mark worked for a large firm of Chartered Accountants based in the city of London and later in their North Wales practice. After becoming a manager, he returned to his roots in North Wales and joined a practice in Rhyl as a partner designate, becoming partner in 1995. He established the Llandudno office of the firm. Butterworths was formed out of a desire to offer a fresh, modern and forward looking approach to all aspects of accountancy. Butterworths is expanding rapidly for providing exceptional service to clients.
Mark is enthusiastic, very ambitious and keen to grow the firm and make a difference.
He enjoys spending quality time with his family, wife Elaina and sons Andrew and Max. Mark has a strong interest in new technology and the stock market. Hobbies include model railway and gardening. Also likes eating out and a glass or two of Chardonnay!

As an officer of the company, Elaina has been a committed member of the Butterworths team since it’s registration and remains an integral part of the firm today.
Working alongside Mark and her colleagues she provides a supporting role and takes pride in her strong organisational skillset.
Elaina is very family oriented, being the wife of Mark and mother to their two adult sons Andrew and Max of whom she is immensely proud.
Elaina adores the company of others and likes mixing in a varied social circle. To relax, Elaina enjoys the companionship between the family and their four-legged friend, reading autobiographies, swimming, travel and catching up with friends over a coffee or a glass of wine!

Zoe joined the team in 2011 with an enthusiasm for accountancy which she had acquired while studying the subject for A Level, and has completed both ACCA and CTA qualifications while working at Butterworths.
Zoe is passionate, motivated, and keen to contribute towards the continuing growth of the firm and to develop as an integral member of the Butterworths team.
Zoe enjoys spending leisure time with family and friends, and has an enthusiasm for cooking, baking and crafting. She also enjoys attending live comedy events, camping trips and is partial to a nice glass of aged single malt!

Rachel joined Butterworths in October 2014 and has since progressed to being a client manager. Having recognised her enthusiasm for accountancy on attending Butterworths during school work experience, she went on to achieve a 1st class honours degree in accounting & finance at Bangor University.
Having also had previous experience in an accountancy practice, Rachel now has a wide range of skills and experience in audit, accountancy and taxation.
She currently looks after a number of clients at Butterworths and also undertakes the role of limited company set-ups as well as company secretarial tasks.
Rachel enjoys her job and is enthusiastic and always willing to help. She aims to provide her clients with the peace of mind that their accountancy requirements are being met.
Outside of work Rachel enjoys spending time with her family & friends and going to the theatre.

Scott joined Butterworths in May 2018 and is now a qualified accountant and client manager in the firm.
Andy joined the team in September 2017. He is hard working and extremely keen to learn.
He is currently studying the ACCA course.
In his spare time Andy enjoys participating in a variety of sports including football, swimming and running, as well as spending quality time with friends and family.

Leanne started working for Butterworths Accountants in March 2021. She is head of payroll and will shortly be commencing her ACCA studies.
Trainee Accounts Technician
Tara started working for Butterworths Accountants in February 2020. She will be studying the AAT course in Coleg Llandrillo.
